The College Park Adventist Church Sabbath school Department’s purpose is to empower the members to learn and share the gospel of Jesus Christ in response to the command of Jesus in Mathew 28:18-24 and in the context of the three angle’s messages. All Sabbath School members are encouraged to engage in the proclamation of the good news with the objective of winning, retaining and making disciples for Jesus. The objective is carried forward through small groups who engage in Studying of the Word, Fellowship, Community Outreach and World Mission. We congregate every Saturday starting from 9:15 am to 10:40am.

Sabbath School Classes

Newcomers: The Visitor's Class

Connections class (Visitors, Newcomers class) is located on the medium level of the church. You can access it by the side entrance on the west side of the church. Why this class? We strive to connect with one another at the personal level. In today's fast-paced, social media-driven society, many are more connected yet simultaneously disconnected than ever before. We interact largely in bits and pieces, utilizing fragmented thoughts and quick exchanges, yet having fewer and fewer meaningful, face-to-face encounters. Bear in mind that we were created for community - to experience life's journey together! We need each other!

Our class is for you if you want to build a significant relationship with God and one another, while providing a socially engaging atmosphere where you can make new friends and be integrated into the body of Christ.

The class start at 9:30 AM with prayer and fellowship. See you there!

Leaders: Nilton Amorim, John Ramsey, Evaldo Vicente, and Sam Kutondo. The class starts at 9:30 a.m. each Sabbath in Room #109, close to the back entrance of the church.

"The Gathering Place" Class

This Sabbath School class aims to provide an opportunity to bring each member into a closer relationship with Jesus and to fellowship with other believers in an inviting atmosphere. Weekly lessons are done on selected books, various video series, or the Sabbath School Quarterly. Class members are encouraged to suggest possible study materials.

Leaders: Jason Perkins, Dave Dell’Erba. The class starts at 9:30 a.m. and it is located at room #108, next to the Visitors Class.

Children's Sabbath School Classes

Our church welcomes children in our midst! Through songs, Bible stories, mission stories and activities, the children learn about Jesus and His love for them, and learn more of God's Word, the Bible. The classes are divided by age groups so that each child can learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way. If you have a child, he or she is very welcome to attend the children's Sabbath School!

Please visit the Welcome Desk for a map of these children's classes that are operating on the second level of the church building.
